COVID UPDATES
We are doing our best to keep ahead of the continually changing state and county requirements.  We are participating in TEST TO STAY for students who may be determined to be an in-school close contact with a positive case.  If this is an option when needed, our school nurses or administrators would reach out to parents to discuss the particulars.

Fully vaccinated individuals who are identified as close contacts to a positive case in school still do not have to quarantine as long as they remain asymptomatic.

Three feet of spacing fully masked (6 feet while eating) is still the standard that the county is using to determine if a person is an in school close contact. Remember, BOTH individuals in close contact must be fully masked in order to avoid quarantine.  Please encourage your children to do their best to social distance, wear their mask, and practice good handwashing.

COMMUNITY SURVEYS
NCS has been asked to share two important community surveys with you.

The first is a Naples Rotary survey about future planning for the Naples Grape Festival. Please click HERE to access this survey.

The second is a Naples Youth Corp survey asking you to share your thoughts about the needs of the youth in our community. Please click HERE to access this survey.

THANK YOU
As we approach this wonderful time for families to be together we want to thank all of you for your patience and support over the past two years as we have worked through the many changes to schooling caused by the pandemic.  We look forward to our new Superintendent Kevin Swartz coming on Board on January 3.  When you meet him at a future school event, please make him feel welcome!

We hope that you can find peace and solace in the upcoming weeks and have a moment to reflect on what is truly important: health, family, friends, and community.

Best Regards,

The Board of Education, Faculty, and Staff at Naples CSD
