New Faces in Naples!
Dear Naples School Community:
There is a saying that "the quality of an education system cannot exceed the quality of its teachers." For generations, Naples has been blessed with a world-class faculty and staff, and that tradition continues as we welcome a new group of dynamic educators to NCS.
As we prepare for the start of the 2017-2018 school year, I wanted to introduce many of the new faces you will see in our buildings by passing along information through our website and social media accounts. We are thrilled that Ms. Lindsey Alongi will be joining our school family, and I would invite you to help us welcome her to Naples this fall.
Hope to see you soon.

Naples High School Receives Silver Medal in National H.S. Rankings
For the second year in a row, Naples High School has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top high schools in the United States with a Silver Medal designation. The U.S. News Best High Schools list has Naples ranked 143 out of 1,270 high schools in New York State. NCS Board of Education Adopts Spending Plan
At its April 12, 2017 meeting, the Naples Board of Education reviewed and adopted a proposed spending plan for the upcoming school year that aims to balance the district’s values and priorities with available resources.
The budget proposal totaling $19.9 million represents a 0.93 percent increase in spending that would result in an estimated tax levy and rate increase of 1.93 percent for district residents—the district’s maximum allowable tax levy limit as calculated under the state’s “tax cap” guidelines.
To review the presentation given by the Superintendent of Schools (Matt Frahm) and the Business Administrator (Mitch Ball) at the April 6, 2016 BOE Meeting, please click HERE.
