NCS 2019 Prom

The Naples Jr./Sr. Prom is quickly approaching!  The Prom will be on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 8-11 PM at the Parrish Hill Barn and Event Center on Rt. 245 in Naples.  The Prom committee has selected the theme of “Floral Fantasy” for this year’s prom.

Students in grades 10-12 are invited to the prom. 9th graders may attend, ONLY if they are a guest of an upperclassman. The maximum age to attend the prom is twenty years old.  All students must be academically eligible to attend the prom.  

Tickets cost $40.00 in advance and $50.00 at the door.  Tickets will be available for purchase during lunches, starting the week of April 22nd, and at the HS main office.  If you wish to write a check for your son/ daughter’s ticket, please make checks out to the “Naples Class of 2020.” In part, the prom raises funds for the special Senior Year Activities for the Class of 2020.  

We would never want financial concerns to prevent any Naples HS student from enjoying this special night.  If you have a concern about the ticket price, please call Mrs. Betrus at 374-7925, or see her at the High School Library.  We will work something out.

Juniors and Seniors will be voting for this year’s prom court in their history classes.  The Prom Court will be announced at 10PM at the prom.

Back again this year, will be a special opportunity for students to take home candid pictures taken by Barb Rathbun.  There will be no extra charge to have some fun pictures taken. Mrs. Rathbun will also be taking professional photos for a charge.  Information on the professional photography will be attached to each ticket that is sold. Students will also be able to enjoy finger foods, desserts and refreshments provided by Lizzie Clearman.

Keeping students safe is extremely important to us.  For that reason, we will have a breathalyzer available at the prom, should we have any concerns related to alcohol consumption.  Students, please make good choices on this special night!
