Dear NCS Family,

On behalf of our entire school community, we would like to extend a sincere note of thanks to everyone who took the time to vote on the 2022-2023 budget.  We are reminded of how lucky we are to live in a community that cares deeply about educational excellence and the success of every child.  It Is our belief that the 22-23 NCS school budget will provide our staff and students with the necessary resources to ensure our district mission can be attained by all students.  Your participation in this important process is truly appreciated.  Below, you will find the results from the budget vote:

School Budget:
   o Yes: 228                    o No: 96

Board of Education Election (3 Seats):
   o Steven Mark: 271 (3 Year Term)
   o Annie Levine: 281 (3 Year Term)
   o Angela Rischpater (write in): 111 (3 Year Term)

Library Budget:
   o Yes: 256                    o No: 72

Library Trustee Positions (3 Seats):
   o Douglas Cochrane: 256 (3 Year Term)
   o Gerald Bay: 282 (3 Year Term)
   o Lisa Jensen: 274 (3 Year Term)

FREE and REDUCED PRICE SCHOOL MEALS:
Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Learn more about the Afterschool Snack Program and access the application here.

The Child Health Plus insurance program provides FREE or VERY LOW COST health insurance to any child up to age 19:

HEALTH EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS - New York State law requires a health examination for all students entering the school district for the first time and when entering Pre-K or K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th grade. The examination must be completed by a New York State licensed physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner. For more details, please contact the school health office.

GENERAL BOARD OF EDUCATION ELECTION INFORMATION

The annual District meeting and election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Naples High School Library to vote on the following issues:
Proposed 2022-2023 Naples Central School Budget
Election of School Board Members
Naples Public Library Budget
Election of Library Trustees
Propositions to Establish a Capital Building Reserve Fund; a Capital Bus Purchase Reserve Fund: and a Capital Reserve Fund for Technology Purchases.
