Naples Educators Announced as “Master Teachers”

On October 2, 2018, the Naples Central School District received a call from Governor Cuomo’s office announcing that Mr. Jon Betrus (High School Science) and Mr. Adam Robison (High School Mathematics) had been selected as New York State Master Teachers.

The Master Teacher Program was created to strengthen STEM education in the United States, and it has helped establish a network of teachers across New York who are committed to the success of all students. When asked to comment about the selection, Superintendent Matt Frahm said, “one would be hard pressed to find two educators who are more dedicated to their craft than Jon and Adam.” He went on to say, “both individuals are willing to do whatever it takes to help students find what they are passionate about, and they represent the high quality of education that has come to define the Naples Central School District.”
