The Honors program is designed to acknowledge our students achieving at the highest level and challenging themselves by taking college-level coursework while enrolled at Naples Jr/Sr High School. The Honors program at Naples High School was created this fall with students currently on track to graduate with the Honors distinction. We are incredibly excited to recognize these students and the pathways of success that lay in front of them.
The Naples CSD open campus privileges are extended to seniors after the first marking period. Students are required to have all passing grades, an 80 average in their classes, and five hours of recent volunteer work. Upperclassmen in the Honors program will also be extended these same privileges, in a slightly expanded format. Seniors in Honors program will be able to apply for privileges in September instead of waiting for the first marking period report card. Juniors in the Honors program will be able to apply for privileges in the same manner as non-honors seniors, using their first marking period grades.
Congratulations to our students on this achievement, our hope is the Honors program at Naples High School will enhance students’ opportunities and enrich their high school experience. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the high school (374-7905).
