Update on Power Outage

NCS Families,

I wanted to let you know that power was restored at NCS at approximately 11:35 a.m. today. During the outage, our Food Service Department and our Facilities Department made sure that our students had lunches, access to drinking water, hand sanitizer, and working bathrooms. Additionally, because the sun is shining and temperatures were in the mid-60s, there were no safety issues related to heat.

However, I did want to acknowledge that the disruption likely proved especially challenging for remote learners due to the loss of Internet. If your son or daughter is concerned that they may have missed out on important learning this morning, please have them reach out to their teachers when they have a minute.

It looks like a beautiful weekend, and I hope you can enjoy the spring weather.
