COVID Case at NCS

Dear NCS Families, Faculty, and Staff:

Earlier today, the Naples Central School District was notified by the Ontario County Department of Health (DOH) that a High School staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member was last in school on Wednesday, January 6, and the individual is currently in isolation in alignment with DOH guidelines.

After examining staff interviews, class rosters, and seating charts, the DOH determined that there was no need for any other individuals to be placed under quarantine.

To help keep our school community safe, we are urging everyone to take the following preventative measures:
  • Prioritize masking and maintain at least six feet of social distance
  • Wash their hands regularly, using soap and hot water for about 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching their eyes, mouth, and nose
As always, please do not hesitate to call or email (585-374-7901, mfrahm@naplescsd.org) if you have any questions or concerns about our safety protocols.

Hoping this finds you safe, healthy, and well.

Matt
