Reopening School Parent Survey

Dear NCS Parents:

On Thursday, the State Education Department (SED) released a comprehensive set of guidelines related to reopening schools in the fall. Over the next two weeks, districts across New York State will be working on written plans that must be submitted by July 31.

Although there are many mandatory elements of reopening, the planning process also gives schools the ability to make certain decisions based on their local needs. To help with making sure we are prepared for remote, in person, or hybrid learning in September, we are asking parents to take a quick survey (click here) at some point before Thursday, July 23.

Additionally, for individuals who indicated that they would like to participate in either Zoom or in person conversations later on this week, I sent out detailed information earlier today. If you wanted to attend one of the sessions but did not receive an email, please let me know as soon as possible (mfrahm@naplescsd.org).
