Naples High School Receives Silver Medal in National H.S. Rankings

For the second year in a row, Naples High School has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top high schools in the United States with a Silver Medal designation. The U.S. News Best High Schools list has Naples ranked 143 out of 1,270 high schools in New York State. Nationally, Naples is ranked 1,630 out of more than 28,000 high schools that were the focus of the study.

To produce the rankings, U.S. News & World Report used a methodology ranking schools “based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college.” In addition, U.S. News also included graduation rates in its ranking of high schools.

When asked about the recognition, Superintendent Matt Frahm said, “The designation is a credit to how much our school community values learning. We are blessed with a world-class faculty and staff here in Naples, and our educators do an incredible job providing students with high expectations as well as individualized support.”
