Naples CSD Placed on College Board's AP Honor Roll

Dear NCS School Community:

I wanted to let you know that this past week we found out that NCS was recognized as one of twenty-six schools in New York State to be placed on the College Board's AP Honor Roll. The designation highlights "school districts committed to increasing access to AP for underrepresented students while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher," and it is a real credit to the hard work of everyone at NCS.

However, I would like to take a quick minute to thank Mr. Clark, Mr. Freivald, Mr. Mannella, Mr. Petrie, Mr. Robison, Mrs. Weller, and Ms. Wolfe for teaching the AP courses offered at NCS. The classes are incredibly challenging, and they demand a unique level of preparation and rigor.

You can access a press release regarding the designation by clicking HERE, and I wanted to share it as an example of how Naples continues to be a world-class place to teach and learn.

Have a great rest of the weekend.

Matt
