Naples Superintendent Search Update November 1, 2021

A Message From Dr. Ramos, Search Consultant

Dear Naples Community,

I am writing to update you on the Superintendent Search. The application period ended and the Superintendent Search Process yielded a highly competitive pool of candidates desiring to be the next Naples Superintendent. Your Board of Education worked long hours last week to screen all applicants and begin their process of selecting those who they wish to interview. This week will be an arduous one for your Board of Education as they begin the confidential interview process to narrow to the finalist candidates. The week of November 8th will bring together a select group of stakeholders to join in the confidential candidate conversations with the board. We are hopeful that by mid-November the Board will have completed the search process and an announcement can be made.

We want to thank all who completed the survey and joined in conversations with me. The information gathered has been valuable to the Board in their focus during the search.
